Midnight – A SONG

I had written this song in past for someone who sings and someone i used to adore :). Something from the memories of olden times

Midnight! Back in time

To those years of loneliness

For a girl who lived far far away

She was confused in her own world

And then found a man who knew it all

Twirling her hair sitting next to him

Looking in his eyes with a smile so deep

Chorus

A man like that she never thought she will find,

But she did, despite of all that came in her mind.

Nothing before ever made her feel that way,

Butterflies in stomach, cheeks so pale,

Flushed with blood as she took his name

Lips curled up in a smile,

As she thought about how well he behaved

Loving each other despite the distance they adorned

Love grew more intense

Even with the ocean and a thousand miles

Her dark world had a ray of light

She wanted him and it felt so right

A gentleman too good to believe

Promises from across the time

Chorus

A man like that she never thought she will find,

But she did, despite of all that came in her mind.

Nothing before ever made her feel that way,

Butterflies in stomach, cheeks so pale,

Flushed with blood as she took his name

Lips curled up in a smile,

As she thought about how well he behaved

Someday we will meet
And speak the unspoken
Make everything that was left behind
And mend our broken hearts
Someday we will meet with you on my side
Someday when everything is just right

She is waiting……..

Chorus

A man like that she never thought she will find,

But she did, despite of all that came in her mind.

Nothing before ever made her feel that way,

Butterflies in stomach, cheeks so pale,

Flushed with blood as she took his name

Lips curled up in a smile,

As she thought about how well he behaved
