Bittersweet

As the stars pierce the night
He stands strong like her knight
A faded shade of light
Resting against their sight
Sparks in their shining eyes
Stealing that moment from the skies
Lying in a crumpled sheet
Revealing a moment so long denied
Tonight for the broken souls
Their bed absorb their sins
Discovering love on their lips
But it tasted so bittersweet
Of all the things she will miss
His touch is what will live
A bittersweet memory of time
Only when she really lived her life
This is her confession
As she wrestles with depression
He was her addiction
And will always be her only time

  1. That was a sweet poem, but donยดt worry it happens to all of you girls. Once I touch you and then I leave you go into depression mode. Youยดll get over it, eat some chocolate that helps. Toblerone if possible, you know which one is that?
