“There are some parts of the world that, once visited, get into your heart and won’t go. For me, India is such a place. When I first visited, I was stunned by the richness of the land, by its lush beauty and exotic architecture, by its ability to overload the senses with the pure, concentrated intensity of its colors, smells, tastes, and sounds. It was as if all my life I had been seeing the world in black and white and, when brought face-to-face with India, experienced everything re-rendered in brilliant technicolor.” – Keith Bellows

  1. looks like u have put up real hard work doing this post. Nice format 🙂
now a few fun facts about our country!!!
1.Pythagoras theorem wasn’t actually his work. Baudhayana was the real inventor, an Indian saint.
2.Bhaskaracharya was the first to put up ‘Law of Gravity’ i.e. “the objects fall on earth due to the force of attraction by earth….. “. I dont know why Newton holds the credit! Newton stated this 1200 years later than bhaskaracharya did. (sic)
    3. Kanad put up the theory that every object is made up of atom which combine to form molecules. About 2500 years before Dalton. :O
    4. I m very smart 😛

Read all these facts on the internet. 🙂 Proud Indian 😀

  2. not blaming actually.. i m just concerned about the facts that all of us should know… some facts which make us proud of the country in which we live. i wonder why i wasnt taught all this stuff when i was in primary?! It was your perspective to look it as a blame game.. I just mentioned the truth. did i disrespect any person? i think i didnt. but if i ever did so, i m guilty
