Snapshot Stories – A Sudden Surprise

Open the first photo album you can find — real or virtual, your call — and stop at the first picture of yourself you see there . Tell us the story of that photo.

Gifts are a great medium to express your feelings, love and appreciation. A gift say thousand things without speaking and a binder in any relationship. At the same time, you would also like to express your feelings with the help of this gifts giving custom. Yes, you would agree on that it has become customary to give presents to your near and dear ones on any special occasion or just to make any day an occasion that they would remember when look at that gift.

Surprises!!! Yes I love surprises!!! I got one today!! An unexpected it was, from my Boss!! He was on leave from many days as he went to his native place to visit his parents and today when he returned he got me this beautiful lamp…Here look at it!! It’s ancient, something which is not available now and i believe he got it from some trader engaged in selling antiques. It’s made of brass and needs to be filled in with kerosene and then lighted. It can go long up-to two days. This was a real surprise coz’ when i joined the office we dint get along pretty well but then slowly we were at-least talking. And this gift was a real surprise.

Isn’t it beautiful? It is a beautiful conical shape lamp.

People who stop giving gifts lose out on important social cues, researchers say. “Who is on your gift list is telling you who is important in your life,” Dr. McGrath said. “It says who is more important and who is less important.” – NOW THAT MAKES ME SMILE!!! 😉
