Waiting for a Stranger (Kruti’s Ballad)

He wrote my Feelings with his Pen!!!

I hope the Winter ends!!

Richard M. Ankers - Author

Note: I wrote this just now for my friend Kruti. Check out her blog if you can. She was feeling low and for some reason wanted a poem to reflect it, so here it is.

She sits beneath a Juniper tree
Waiting for a stranger
Who could it be?

As cobalt clouds loom ahead
That pretty girl
The tears she’s shed.

All she wishes from that ructions sky
Is to catch the glint
In a lover’s eye.

Perhaps, when the rain chooses to pour
She’ll find some heart
That will adore.

Or sit there still under that tree
She’ll sob till winter
That poor, Kruti.
