“Afterlife” and “Karma” are closely associated with each other. In this article, I’ll take you on a journey towards understanding the afterlife.
Everything that lives would die one day. But is that the end of the journey? This topic is indeed highly debatable. Spiritualism has its root in the origin of humanity. Afterlife has always been a tempting subject to study. While many prefer not to talk on this subject, there are few of them who chose to find out the truth behind afterlife.
In a recent study in 2012, Dr Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon, described his experience about afterlife. While he had a near death experience, he was actually elevated to heaven. “The blaze” has recorded many such incidents and one of them was a boy claiming “heaven” a real locality. I researched a lot on the topic and would like to share few things about it.
The body would rot but the soul would live forever. The human soul is created from the fabric of the universe and a person can live beyond the body. Dr. Stuart Hameroff, Scientist (Quantum Consciousness) has given several explanations as to what happens to the soul after death. Many individuals have experienced such a transition while undergoing a near death experience.
Afterlife Theory as Described by Dr. Hameroff
A near death experience is one in which the heart is no more beating and blood is no more flowing with microtubules losing their quantum but the information inside is still safe. When such patients are revived, the information goes back to microtubules and the patient describes seeing something unique and different – A white light floating put of their body. If the patient is not revived and he dies, the information can still exist outside the body. This is called the soul.
“I believe that consciousness, or its immediate precursor proto-consciousness, has been in the universe all along, perhaps from the Big Bang,” Says Dr. Hameroff
According to me death and dying are two different things and dying comes before death. While we are about to die we breathe out last and exhale. People have been noted to experience a variety of events during this process. Some experience themselves in some different location and feel vibrations. Others experience family and friends waiting for them on the other side. They move close and then the experience of dying becomes easier. There have been few who have experienced a white light or tunnel of light. Death is the end of physical life and the emancipation of soul.
I came across this story from “parker”, it goes back to 1991. A resident of Atlanta, Ga, Pam Reynolds had a near death experience. While going for a surgery for brain aneurysm, her blood was completely drained out of the brain. It was out for full 45 minutes. Such a condition is called “Clinically dead”. Pam was clinically dead for 45 minutes. While she was resuscitated she was noted telling some unique and out of the box experiences.
“I was able to interact with my deceased relatives” says Pam. The most surprising fact was that she was able to describe the entire process of her surgery. Science calls it “out of the body experience”.
Hindus believe in the theory of “Life after death”. According to Hinduism, the soul is released from the body and it roams around till it finds another body. It is called re-incarnation. Also the current birth would have its destiny as per the past deed which is very well explained in the theory of “Karma”. It can be in any form in the present birth. A human can be re-incarnated as a bird. Christians believe in heaven and believe that the soul would leave this body and would return to god. Buddhist and Jains believe in the Soul. According to theory, a soul never dies. It would just change its physical body just the way we change our clothes. For a non-believer, an atheist, I have no explanation.
You can keep on assuming but remember, the dead won’t come back to speak. This is a mystery which no “LIVING” being can answer.
